for the 2010 Reach Out For Schools Road Race and Walk!
Reach Out
For Schools is a non-profit, membership organization that raises
money to support primary and secondary schools in the communities in
which our members reside. All funds raised will benefit our
Adopt-A-Classroom program, providing financial and moral support for
teachers and students.
Race day
festivities include a free Kids Fun Run (ages 12 and under), a
certified 5K road race and walk, refreshments, music, and award
ceremony.

Kids Fun
Run
- Free,
non-competitive run around DCU’s Marlborough branch for kids 12
and under.
- Ribbons
to all finishers
- Children
who participate in the Kids Fun Run must be accompanied by an
adult. Please note that children will also need adult supervision
if the parents are running the 5k. We do not have volunteers
assigned to supervise the children.
5k Course
Description:
- 5k (3.1
mile) flat, out-and-back course on suburban streets.
- One
water stop; volunteers at each mile calling out splits.
- USATF
certification pending.
